Brigitte Hermetz TRAINING 1970: Enters the Paris Opera dance school under the direction of Ms. Claude Bessy. -She works with very great teachers such as Ms. Jacqueline Moreau, Girodez, Villabella, Devanelle,Vaussard,Labis,Mayer,Franchetti,Brieux…. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES 1975: Enters the corps de ballet of the Paris Opera under the direction of Raymond Franchetti Performs the entire classical, neo-classical and contemporary repertoire. Participates in all international tours of the company. -Japan, Mexico, Singapore, China, United States, Korea, Brazil, Buenos Aires, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Argentina, Russia, Switzerland, and throughout France 1976: Promoted to Coryphée following the Paris Opera promotion competition with the unanimity of the jury. -He was given roles such as The Blue Bird during the Tokyo tour. -Soloist the same year in Mac Millan's creation "L'hiver" and in Balanchine's "Chaconne" pas de deux, under the direction of Violette Verdi. 1978: Chosen by Rudolf Nureyev to dance with him the pas de trois from “Swan Lake” in its version at the Paris Opera. -Soloist in Sylvia de lycette. Darsonval (Hunters). -Participates in the tour to Moscow (Bolshoi) and Lenningrad (Kirov). 1983: Works with Maitre Brieux. -Participates in Sleeping Beauty by Rosella Hightower under the direction of Rosella Hightower. -Soloist in “Fairies”, “Knight” and “Precious Stones”. -She works with different choreographers such as: -Roland Petit “Phantom of the Opera.” -Jérome Robins “Glass peaces and Concerto in G”. -John Neumeier with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Bach 2 Bach 3”, “Magnificat”, “Sylvia”. -Georges Balanchine “Soloist in Agon”, “4 Temperaments”, “Theme Variation”, “Divertimento”. – Maurice Béjart “The Rite of Spring” 9th Symphony. 1984: Promoted Sujet during the Paris Opera promotion competition under the direction of Rudolf Nureyev. -She participates in all the ballets.

​EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES: 1990 to 2002: Teacher at the Stanlowa dance institute in Paris -Professor at Pascale Vaillant in Pontoise. -Teacher at the Municipal School of Vitry sur Seine. -Dance teacher at the Cannes Rosella Hightower School of Dance from September 2002 until 2012 2012: Gives Private Lessons to prepare for International Competitions and Professional Auditions. -Opens an intensive Classical Dance Training for professionals at Studio Art 13 in Cannes 06400 in September 2012. -Training aimed at preparing Future Soloists for the classical repertoire. Transmission of the French school, but also of the American school and the Balanchine Style. -Prepare dancers for stage performance, as well as the evolution of dance, towards current choreographers.
