About Us

Founded five years ago in France, in the city of Pau, the Junior Ballet is a center of excellence dedicated to the transition from advanced training to professional life. Designed as a professional junior ballet, it supports dancers at the end of their academic studies as they prepare to enter leading international companies.

Supported by the City of Pau and developed in collaboration with the Conservatoire de Pau-Béarn, the program offers a rigorous artistic environment, with the option of pursuing an official two-year Bachelor’s Degree for dancers seeking a strong academic foundation.

Under the artistic direction of Jean-Philippe Dury, the Junior Ballet works each season with renowned company directors and internationally recognized choreographers. Through professional-level creation, workshops, and auditions, dancers gain visibility, experience, and direct access to the professional world.
